FAQs
1. Do I need an appointment to try on wedding dresses?
While not required, I recommend booking an appointment to ensure you have dedicated time and do not have to cut your time short for other scheduled appointments.
2. How far in advance should I start shopping for my wedding dress?
We suggest starting 9–12 months before your wedding to allow time for ordering and alterations.
3. What should I bring to my appointment?
Bring proper undergarments, a strapless bra, shoes similar to your wedding day shoes, and any inspiration photos you may have.
4. How long are bridal appointments?
Appointments typically last 60–90 minutes.
5. How many guests can I bring with me?
We recommend bringing 2–4 guests whose opinions you value most. If you’d like to bring more, let us know in advance.
6. What is the price range of your wedding dresses?
Our gowns typically range from $700 to $2,500, with most falling in the $1,600 - $1,800 range.
7. Do you offer plus-size wedding dresses?
Yes, we carry a selection of sample gowns in sizes up to 30W and can special order most styles in extended sizes.
8. Can I buy a dress off the rack?
Yes, we have a selection of off-the-rack dresses available for immediate purchase, perfect for short timelines or budget-conscious brides. Most are previous samples and will need light cleaning and perhaps a repair or two.
9. What is your return or exchange policy?
All sales are final. Because bridal gowns are special-order items, we cannot accept returns or exchanges.
10. Do you offer alterations?
I work with a highly trusted seamstress, Lupe, who does incredible work and can meet here at my shop. Alterations are not included in the dress price and are quoted separately.
11. How long does it take for a dress to arrive after ordering?
Most dresses take 4–6 months to arrive, depending on the designer. Rush orders may be available for an additional fee.
12. Do you carry bridesmaid, mother-of-the-bride/groom, or flower girl dresses?
Yes! I carry a selection of mother-of-the-bride/groom dresses as well as formal styles for galas, bridesmaids, and prom! Unfortunately, I do not carry flower girl dresses but hope to carry those (and tuxes!) once I can expand to a larger location.
13. Do you carry prom and homecoming?
Yes! I carry a large selection of both prom and homecoming dresses. Prices range from $79 - $499 with most priced between $149 - $249. I also maintain a registry so that no one from your school will have the same dress for that dance once you’ve made your purchase!
14. Can I customize my wedding dress (change neckline, add sleeves, etc.)?
Many designers offer custom options—I can walk you through what’s possible depending on the designer.
15. Do you sell accessories like veils, jewelry, or gifts?
Yes, we offer a curated selection of bridal accessories to complete your look alongside gifts for the bride and bridal party.
16. What forms of payment do you accept?
We accept cash, major credit cards, and offer payment plans on select purchases.
17. What happens after I say “yes” to the dress?
Once you choose your gown, I will take your measurements and we’ll confirm your size. Then I will place the order with the designer and provide you with a timeline for delivery. A 60% deposit is required to place your order with the balance due at pickup.
18. Do you buy used wedding dresses?
Not at this time. I hope to be able to expand my used/sample sale inventory very soon but I need my business to be a bit busier first! I will update this section as soon as I am able to take in used inventory.
