Meet Valerie

Hello, I’m Valerie, and I can’t wait to meet you! Think of me as another friend at your appointment, here to support you. But first, here’s a little about me. 

I get to live the dream and actually love what I do! I spent years stuck in the corporate grind like so many of us are. Most recently I worked for a big tech company for nearly a decade. It was fun until it wasn’t. I realized I was burnt out. I wasn’t being a great mom, I wasn’t being a great wife, I wasn’t being good to myself. That was when I knew I needed out and I’m lucky that our family could make a career break work. After reassessing life, working through a big loss in my family, prioritizing what is important, and receiving some major encouragement from my husband, I decided to take my business experience and do something fun and something that would work for our family. So here I am!

Why I’m Here

Over the last year I have learned a lot about the hurdles of starting a small business and had many a moment wondering if I’m just nuts for doing this. But I keep thinking about the joy I can bring to brides (and all dress shoppers!) and how much fun this will be.

So, long story short, thank you for considering me a friend when you come in my doors.
